The smoke from a neighbour’s wood heater fills the house… Planned burns by government reduce the air quality for days on end…
My next door neighbor burns wood. During the winter his stove is running 12–18 hours straight.
I left the area, only to be faced with woodsmoke issues from wood stoves and fire pits in the new area.
It’s very acrid and so strong it comes indoors even with all windows shut. I frequently have burning eyes and nose or coughing…
So we pay the price for ignorance, poor ordinance, years of fighting for our property rights, the stress, the duress, the financial burdens, and now the physical death of my husband…
The end result is that the air quality…is much worse than in many urban areas I have lived before…
I am so angry at being forced to breathe this in knowing how dangerous it is.
Laughingly the local council state that we are a clean air zone – I think it’s cleaner in London in the winter!
I have a heart condition and have to run two big air purifiers 24/7 and sometimes the smoke is so bad I can’t go out in my yard.
