Wood Smoke Stories

No right to clean air

I cannot believe that toxic chemicals are allowed to be freely released into the air without any regard for neighbours in residential areas. I have asthma and struggle to breathe throughout the cold months due to my neighbours’ chimney smoke getting into my home.

How is the right to clean air placed so low on the priority list of governments that burning wood goes unregulated for so long?

Resident from Victoria, Australia.
