Wood smoke and illness

My next door neighbor burns wood. During the winter his stove is running 12–18 hours straight.

I open my window to get fresh air and my cats wheeze because of the smell. My nose runs.

He has suffered a stroke—perhaps from the wood smoke. The lady directly across the street died from cancer—wood smoke?

My clothes and pets when brought in from outside reek of his smoke.
