…even after reporting the sky-high PM2.5 levels that my child is being exposed to, the Environmental Health Department has chosen not to act.

The smoke fumes were terrible…We were forced to eventually sell up and move AGAIN…

We are both constantly suffering from asthma and chest infections that never clear up.

We smell smoke at night in our house, even though we block off the stove fan vent, windows with plastic…

There was so much stress and angst with the neighbour with the chimney near our bedroom window…

I can’t breathe due to my asthma and allergies… everything smells like wood smoke…

…I was closing internal doors, using wet towels under the gaps below the doors and retreating to the least affected room….

I am an elderly person who has suffered from wretched chimney smoke for over 10 years now… It’s like living in some kind of hell.

My children and I are currently prisoners of our home due to our neighbours’ fireplace…
