Two years ago we replaced [our wood burner] with a more modern, easy to use and, we thought, more eco friendly one.

We are both constantly suffering from asthma and chest infections that never clear up.

My story does not involve wood smoke, but fumes from the burning of a so called smokeless fuel.

Even when I am in the house I experience the symptoms because the smoke penetrates the house…

The smoke comes into my house even with the windows and doors closed.

The heavy dense smell of wood smoke pervades everything. I used to love this smell but now I struggle to breathe…
